The clinician must look beyond the initial good outcome of survival in oncology patients and focus on the effects of treatment. This article discusses the changes in the pelvic floor caused by therapy for gynecologic cancer. Sexual health and urinary and bowel function are important aspects of patient well-being that should be addressed following cancer treatment.
