The new Maintenance of Certification (MOC) process for ObGyns began last year. It replaces the former recertification process, with the goal of maintaining excellence in health care practice. The second of 4 elements of MOC assesses lifelong learning competency. The majority of the nation’s ObGyns probably are now involved in the MOC Part II process. This article aims to provide the basic information for those not yet obligated and offer some lesser-known facts for those already involved in the process.
